Branch Meetings

Regular branch meetings are held between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 79 Ferris Lane, Barrie (see location map). Any changes in time or place are noted in the Branch newsletter SCAN, as well as here on the web, in community newspapers and on Trillium Cable’s Channel 10. We take a summer break, so there are no meetings held July and August.

Guest speakers at these monthly gatherings include experienced researchers, teachers, computer buffs and others who are well versed in genealogy. You will soon make friends with our members who are always ready to answer your questions and provide any assistance you need to get started on your quest.

All meetings are open to the general public, so you do not have to be a member to join the fun.
