Since the advent of the World Wide Web, interest in genealogy and family history research has grown tremendously. Several years ago, the Simcoe County Branch of the OGS created a web site of our own.

The Web Site project:

• helps promote the branch to those doing research in Simcoe County and beyond
• keeps our members informed on current events within the branch
• makes some of our resources available to a greater number of researchers through online databases and listings of branch publications
• provides an area for members to share their interests with a greater number of researchers
