One of the most important issues related to genealogy and family research is being able to locate original documents, records and other items in order to validate your research. As a result, the preservation and/or recording of important historical records is vital to those of us currently working on our family trees and for future researchers as well.
The Simcoe County Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society is actively involved in a variety of projects that are intended to assist future research and benefit the membership at large. Our goal is to help preserve and record information pertaining to Simcoe County.
