History:
The cemetery was located on the Dennis Gallagher Farm. In 1867, the land was deeded to the Diocese. A church was built but was subsequently destroyed by fire. Some of those interred in the cemetery were removed to Phelpston. The few remaining stones were gathered together and placed on a concrete base. |
