Library Collection

The Simcoe County Branch of the OGS has an extensive collection of holdings that can be a valuable tool for researchers. In partnership with Barrie Public Library, these holdings along with the library's local history collection, are kept in the R. Bruce Peacock Local History and Genealogy Room of the public library. All materials must be examined in the library and can be accessed during regular library hours. Through the library's Interlibrary Loan Service, items not available locally may often be borrowed from other libraries, including the Archives of Ontario. Microfilm and microfiche reader/printers are available.
